2024 Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District National Science Popularization Day and Guangzhou Development Zone Science and Technology Museum Opening Activity

On September 20, Guangdong Nikola Energy Technology Co., Ltd. actively participated in and helped the 2024 Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District National Science Popularization Day and Guangzhou Development Zone Science and Technology Museum Opening Activity with the theme of "Improving the Scientific Literacy of the Whole People, Jointly Building a Strong Science and Technology Nation". As an industrial science popularization scene enterprise in Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District, Guangdong Nikola Energy Technology Co., Ltd. brought the public product experiences of emergency rescue, emergency safety (firefighting) and emergency safety science popularization VR and other sections. These products integrate immersion, science and interactivity, aiming to stimulate the whole society's love for science and admiration for innovation.

At the same time, after multiple recommendations, careful research, layer-by-layer screening, evaluation and assessment, and soliciting opinions from various industry departments, our company was honored to be rated as the Emergency Safety Science Popularization Branch Hall of the Guangzhou Development Zone Science and Technology Museum, and successfully completed the licensing ceremony.

At the event, teenagers and their parents at our booth were immersed in learning emergency safety and rescue knowledge, including CPR. Wearing MR glasses, participants practiced in four accident scenarios: electric shock, drowning, fire and smoke inhalation, and traffic accidents. Data feedback provided a more intuitive view of the real-time rescue situation. These practical skills can save lives in critical moments and have extremely high practical value. Through hands-on practice and experience, participants not only learned emergency first aid knowledge but also discovered and solved problems in an interactive way, enhancing their emergency response capabilities. The emergency safety science VR experience system, by creating realistic emergency scenario simulations, attracted many visitors who stopped to experience it enthusiastically. Visitors felt as if they were in real fire escapes, earthquake shelters, and other crises, making emergency safety knowledge more vivid, concrete, and impactful. The electrical fire causes section in the emergency safety (firefighting) area attracted the attention of many parents. Through explanations of the causes of electrical fires and demonstrations of the phenomena, it effectively improved people's skills in understanding the causes of electrical equipment fires and their prevention measures. This science popularization and education activity aims to reach different age groups, industries, and professions, ensuring that every visitor gains emergency safety knowledge and skills.

In addition, the "Hand-drawn Map of Industrial Science Popularization Scenarios" is also a major highlight of this year's National Science Popularization Day activities in Huangpu District. As one of the enterprises providing industrial science popularization scenarios in Huangpu District, Guangzhou Development Zone, our company will launch a study tour on September 28th. Through diverse science popularization activities such as science lectures, exhibition hall visits, and emergency safety product experiences, we will bring the public a unique and immersive emergency safety science popularization experience.

2024 Guangzhou National Science Popularization Day Main Venue Activity and the 7th Guangzhou Science Popularization Carnival

On September 21-22, the "2024 Guangzhou National Science Popularization Day Main Event and the 7th Guangzhou Science Popularization Carnival" was held at the Pazhou Science Popularization Center of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences. The event featured five themed exhibition areas with more than 170 booths and attracted thousands of visitors.

Our company, in collaboration with numerous science popularization organizations in Guangzhou, showcased the city's science resources, scientific achievements, and research capabilities, bringing the public a science popularization feast that integrated interaction, participation, sharing, and experience. Leveraging our company's technological expertise, we combined VR/MR experiences, emergency skills training, and immersive accident simulations to help the public enhance their safety awareness and learn emergency safety knowledge through interactive activities.

At the event, the MR CPR training system was particularly eye-catching, winning the favor of many teenagers and their parents. Through hands-on experience, everyone gained a deeper understanding of emergency first aid knowledge. The combination of educational videos and physical demonstrations explaining the causes of electrical fires not only revealed the dangers of electrical fires but also enhanced public safety awareness. The emergency safety VR experience area saw long queues, with teenagers eagerly immersing themselves in realistic simulations and learning emergency escape skills.

As an annual science popularization event, the National Science Popularization Day has become an important platform for promoting the spirit of science, disseminating scientific ideas, popularizing scientific knowledge, and improving the scientific quality of the people.
